OLD SCHOOL COOL...

I am emailing to enquire about featuring my highly modified EXUP in your magazine. Please see attached before, during and postrebuild. I have owned the bike for 11 years and spent the first four years acquiring the performance parts, custom paint and hand fabricating aerospace billet aluminium parts.

This was my first ever bike build which was completed in my garage at home. I wanted to put a modern twist on a classic sport bike, but wanted to improve on what came out of the factory. The paint scheme is standard but with modern Yamaha colours including R1 purple blue metallic. The whole bike has been highly modified to a high standard as I’m very fussy (my occupation is aerospace quality engineer).

Don’t know if this is worthy of an article in your mag, but it has been exhibited in bike shows here in NorthWales, one being this summer’s Llanbikefest at the foot of the Horseshoe Pass. Darren Bradley How could we not put that in the mag! Although it’s old, it’s still gold. We absolutely love seeing people get their hands dirty as well, so kudos for the star letter!
