CHRISTMAS PIMPIN’!
Hi guys just picked this 2003 Yamaha R1? What do you guys think of them? What mods would you do/ recommend? Keep up the good work! Brett Walker Cracking bikes these, love ’em, really nice and compact (before they got fat), great handling and decent power with lots of torque. New pads for the brakes, get the fuelling done if it isn’t already, set of modern tyres and you should be away! Also worth looking at the suspension as it’s getting on a bit – Maxton do an amazing refresh service for front and back, think it’s around £400 – new oils, springs, full rebuild all to your weight, well worth the money.
