The MV has a Sachs shock and Marzocchi forks, which don’t stand up to the test of time very well. Check them for any leaks using a bit of cloth and ensure the shock still retains some damping qualities by bouncing the rear end of the bike up and down. To be fair, it’s probably knackered…
