It’s a load slower than the BB4 but it’s really physical to ride. The modern bike does everything for you but the YB4 doesn’t have all the aids that I’ve got used to.

It’s got a slipper clutch so it’s a tiny bit forgiving but it’s running flat slide carbs so there is still a fair bit of engine braking when you shut the throttle. The throttle is dead heavy on the classic bike and the clutch is dead heavy too. It’s all a lot less refined, but It’s a hoot to ride and I always look forward to nailing it.
