SUZUKI GSX-R750

-

The GSX-R750 didn’t used to be unique, but from the early-2000s onwards Suzuki’s decision to keep developing the 750 when everyone else had abandoned this class made it so. Aficionados will still say the 750 offers the perfect blend of performance and handling, but the truth of the matter is that a modern litre bike is just as agile and its clever electronics will tame the excessive power. That said, a GSX-R750 is still a wonderful machine to ride on either the road or track. They sold in large numbers for a good reason.

WATCH OUT FOR:

All GSX-R750 models suffer from gearbox issues, so check all is well on a test ride (avoid bikes with quick shifters fitted), and be wary of Fi warning lights and crash damage. The finish is poor in areas, so look for flaking paint, and warped discs are also common.
