So Dani Pedrosa is retiring at the end of this season... what do you lot make of that? And who do you think will get the Petronas Yamaha ride?

Simon Fly Tobias:

Could go to Smith or Redding.

Ian Miles:

Surprised he did not want to do a start up for a year or so. Good of him to make way, so 99 and 93 can be together at last. Always liked him. Smith or one of Rossi’s VR46 fellas.

Kev Challis:

I don’t think either of Smith or Redding will get the ride, who would I put on there, I have no idea haha.

Lee Brogdon:

It’s a shame he’s not going to try a different bike or championship. A new challenge might but what he needs to get him back on form.

Baz Smart:

Folger and Smith for Yamaha rides.

Mike Canham:

I saw that coming to be honest. He hasn’t been on consistent form for a while and has been plagued by injuries. He was a great, if not the best No.2 rider when he was on form. No idea about the Yam ride. Although I’d love to see our boys on the grid (Redding, Smith) I just don’t think they deserve it with the way they’ve been riding and the results they’ve had IMO.

Kelvin Cox:

Would be good if Bradley Smith got the ride. He did well on the Yamaha before.

John Jess:

Gutted, local boy to me only 3kms away but hey-ho loads more Catalonians to cheer on so life moves on.

Simon Stratford:

A shame to see him go but was the right choice. They need to look and WSB and maybe VDM.
