Andy Argent Mk4 Mondeo

The Mk4 Mondeo may not be top of everyone’s list of fast Fords to modify, but the 2.5-litre turbo Titanium X model like Andy’s can be a real wolf in sheep’s clothing – it does share the same ferocious five-pot as found in the Focus ST after all. And as such, many of the ST upgrades can be bolted directly on to the big Mondeo too. Andy’s Mk4 has been fitted with a Scorpion downpipe and decat, coupled to a custom twin- exit exhaust system, a Focus RS clutch and flywheel upgrade, Airtec intercooler, Sitech inlet plenum and JW Racing ‘Stage 3’ software. All of which provides a healthy 300plus bhp! Enough to raise more than a few eyebrows when Andy stamps on the loud pedal.
