TYRED OUT

Ross uses different tyres for the road and the race track. Using one set for both is a bit of a bodge to be honest, you’ll always be compromising one or the other. For the track he has a set of sticky Yokohama A048R semi-slicks. These heat up exceptionally well and provide loads of grip, but on the road they are noisier than regular road tyres, and their stiff sidewalls results in less comfort. We photographed the car on his road rubber, Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tyres, which are still grippy but deal better with wet weather and cold roads when needed.
