ENGINE 1993cc Cosworth YB built by Turbosyste­ms/ Tony Mannock Race Engines, 7.2:1 forged pistons, stress- relived and wirerung 200 block, long studded, high pressure oil pump, ported cylinder head, custom-spec camshafts, Vernier pulleys, Garrett RS500spec T4 turbo, RS500 intercoole­r, additional chargecool­er system, RS500 8-injector system with 8x Bosch 803 ‘green’ injectors, custom 3in downpipe and exhaust system with Turbosyste­ms signature twin 4in tailpipe, K&N Group A air filter, RS500 boost hoses, custom oil breather system, custom alloy radiator and alloy header tank, twin ECU system (believed to be early Superchips add- on)

POWER 590bhp @ 6000rpm, 548lb.ft @6500rpm (plus 50bhp nitrous to make 640bhp)

TRANSMISSI­ON Rear-wheel drive with Richmond 6-speed gearbox with NASCARspec internals, custom clutch, custom propshaft, modified rear beam, Quaife rear diff with diff cooling system

SUSPENSION Koni adjustable dampers with 45mm lowering springs, custom coil- overs at rear, polyuretha­ne bushes and rose joints throughout

BRAKES AP Racing 330mm discs and 4-pot calipers all round. Fronts include second AP Racing 4- pot caliper, making it twin caliper per hub. Rears feature hydraulic handbrake with modified Sierra handbrake operating separate master cylinder

WHEELS & TYRES 7.5x17in Artec three-spoke alloys, Yokohama AD08 tyres (215/40 front, 235/40 rear)

EXTERIOR Sapphire Cosworth bodykit, custom tiger stripe livery, RS500 front splitter, rolled rear arches, de- locked doors, Morrette twin headlights

INTERIOR Cosworth cloth Recaros, blue dash and carpets, blue seat belts, wood trim capping (optional Ford upgrade), Willans 4- poiunt harnesses, Momo steering wheel, additional gauges and traction control; switchgear, two nitrous bottles in boot
