GEOFF PAYNE FOCUS ST
In a sea of Mustangs and late model RSs, it’s great to see the previous generations still receiving the love and attention they deserve – and Geoff’s Mk2 Focus ST has been modified to the hilt, and there’s still a ton to go too! Geoff’s owned his baby from eight months old, and the mods and upgrades began immediately. The bit that really drew us though was the Wisbech Engineering induction system – a company more famous for its work in the world of street rods; which they’ve been into since the year dot. Wisbech have an incredible reputation; since everything they do is of the best quality and they have produced more than their fair share of awardwinning custom vehicles. A serious top mark in Geoff’s build then – you know the rest is equally well thought out.
Current power is around the 320bhp mark but the next step planned is to bring it into JWR for Jason to add their 400bhp package – it seems Fords, no matter what model, simply keep evolving. With detailing by Andy Parsons – including those snazzy brake calipers; “I wasn’t sure about them at first but he convinced me they’d work!” – this car proves the older models can still cut it….
