LEGENDS IN WAITING
MK2 FOCUS RS
The Mk2 Focus RS could be argued as the spiritual successor to the Escort Cosworth. It may lack the EsCos’s 4x4 powertrain, but like the Cossie it’s almost embarrassingly aggressive, immensely tuneable, and hilarious fun. It’s a future legend for sure, if it isn’t already!
MK7 FIESTA ST
The Mk7 Fiesta ST hasn’t scooped so many awards and accolades for no reason; it’s got a strong case as being one of the best fast Fords ever built! If the RS Turbo is a fast Ford legend, the more powerful, faster, more tuneable, and even more fun-to-drive ST is a dead-set legend in the making.
MUSTANG GT
The S550 Mustang is only a few years old but it’s already making history as the first ever ‘proper’ Mustang available in the UK. Plus, in a world pushing for ever more eco-friendly hybrids, the two-fingers-up stance of a 5.0litre V8 is sure to be remembered fondly by Ford fans…
MK3 FOCUS RS
Like the Mustang, the Mk3 Focus RS already has a legacy assured; special editions such as the limited run of just 50 Heritage Editions will mean it’s a model that will always be in demand. But could it be the last ever Ford RS? If it is, the Mk3 RS will forever be remembered as the last of its kind.
MK1 FOCUS RS
The Mk1 Focus RS is on the verge of becoming a fast Ford legend, indeed many of you may consider it deserving of tag already. As the model that resurrected the RS brand after the Cosworth era and forming the blueprint for the next generation of fast Fords, it’s a true legend in waiting.
