The big talking point among the fans is when we can be back at Bramall Lane supporting the boys.

This season will be different to

last because we won’t be taken lightly by opposition teams. We will also have to adapt to games differently ourselves.

I won’t be happy unless we beat Leeds home and away. Jokes aside, though I’m really looking forward to a Yorkshire Premier League derby. Our most underrated player is

Jack O’connell. Not by anyone at Bramall Lane, but from beyond. He joins in with attacks down the left, and is English. Any chance, Gareth?

Look out for Sander Berge, our record signing from Genk. He’s only 22 and became more comfortable at the back end of last season. The player I’d happily drive to

another club is Kean Bryan. Having signed a three- year deal in August 2018, the former Manchester City youth product has never found a place in Chris Wilder’s plans. The one change I’d make would

be improving our facilities. Wilder has led calls for training ground redevelopment, and plans are firmly underway to do just that.

Our key player will be John Fleck. The Scot, who has been with us for the entire Wilder journey, took his game to new levels last season. He’s loved in these parts. The fans’ opinion of the gaffer

is that Wilder is Sheffield United’s greatest manager of all time. Can’t say it simpler than that, really.

We’ll finish 12th. We’ll likely be among the relegation favourites again, but defying the odds is what this team does best.
