There’s a lot more to Filterstep. You can increase the number of steps you can draw to 64, and reduce the number and range of the steps that are actually cycled using the range selector above the sequencer. As well as the dice, there’s a switch to let Filterstep re-randomise a pattern every few bars (you say how many). Bypass the whole effect with a switch or by holding a click, and there’s dry/wet control over the signal too, letting you blend the processed and unprocessed signals as you like.
