Combining interfaces on a Mac

How can I use both my Allen & Heath Firewire desk and Prism Titan USB interface in Logic?

From the Audio MIDI Setup in OS X and macOS, you can set up ‘Aggregate Devices’ and ‘Multi-Output Devices’, which allow multiple connected interfaces to be seen as one unit by you DAW. It does take some initial thought and head scratching, but both are relatively easy to set up. If you’re combining two input interfaces into one Aggregate device, you might need to increase the buffer size in your DAW. You can also set the unit with the tightest internal clock to be the master clock for your whole system. Let’s take a look…
