If you want a polyphonic analogue synth that is also capable of layering then there are limited options. The Prophet ‘08 and its successor (the REV2) are both capable of polyphonic layering (over two separate layers). Both are very easy to set up/use and the REV216 will give you two 8-voice layers. Otherwise, consider the Alesis Andromeda; it’s analogue, with 16-parts.
