REVENGE OF THE PATTERNATOR
The Patternator is an intriguing combo of CV and gate sequencers: independent but with a common clock source. The CV sequencer is a simple melodic sequencer with four knobs – one per step. A set of four switches allow steps to be skipped. The output here is rooted to the pitch of all three oscillators via a pitch attenuator control. There’s additional control for filter cutoff, and a separate patchable output for modulation destination. The gate sequence creates eight-step patterns, configurable using two Beat knobs for accessing odd and even steps.
