Mono reference speaker?

There are a few options for £250 or less: the Avantone Mixcube (active), Auratone 5Cs (used), Behringer’s ‘Behritone’ (discontinued but they pop up second hand) or the Fostex 6301NB. All are solid as mono reference monitors for checking that everything can still be heard optimally on mono systems.
