Monday 25 April 2015. Fagan Park, Galston.

Commemorate this ANZAC Day on Monday 25 April at Fagan Park, Galston. The Heritage Area of Netherby Homestead and Rural Museums in Fagan Park will be open between 9am and 4pm.

Following our successful open day on Australia Day in January, The Friends of Fagan Park will again open the doors to the past and a look into the future.

Fagan Park provides an insight into the remarkable rural history of the Hornsby Shire, including Galston, Glenorie, Dural and the Hills District. There will be a display of Trucks, Tractors, running Stationary Engines, a Steam Engine, a working Hot Air Engine, a Road Roller, Horse-drawn Sulkies, a display of Hand Tools, and restored Farm Machinery to see. The trucks and tractors will be paraded around the park at noon. Explore Netherby Cottage and the magnificent gardens. There is always something new and a lot to see and do for the whole family.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available provided by the Friends of Fagan Park at a modest charge. All the park facilities such as Picnic Areas, Barbecues, Children’s Playground, Walking Trails and the stunning Gardens of Many Nations will be open.

Fagan Park is located 1km North of Galston Village on Arcadia Road. Entry to the Park and Museum Area is free. Entry to Fagan Park car park is $5.00 per car.
