New Bar Proposed at Round Corner

The Colosmo family, who run the Australian Hotel and Brewery, Hillside Hotel, and the Bella Vista Hotel, have submitted plans for a new pub called The Hop House. The property is located at 1 Kenthurst Road, which is just behind the Caltex Service Station at Round Corner.

The application is for a single story building housing a maximum of 150 patrons and 19 car spaces. The plans show a dining area, gaming room, bar area and courtyard. The kitchen holds a smoke house where onsite smoke meats will be produced. The proposed trading hours are 7am to midnight Monday to Saturday and 7am to 10pm on Sundays.

The application is being determined by Hills Shire Council. Application No. 1441/2017/HA. Due to concerns raised by residents, a conciliation meeting will be held at Hills Shire Council chambers.
