Keith Hobson

-

Final goodbyes take many forms and at the memorial service for Keith Hobson it was the empty coffin in the room which stirred the memories and lightened the spirits of those who came to remember a larrikin whose life was well lived.

Keith had made his own coffin and even though it was lined with images and snap shots from his life he was destined for a more giving end. To quote Ingrid, his daughter, “Dad’s morbid sense of humour was the order of the day. Even after he's gone his self made coffin (which we no longer need) had all us of us laughing. He had donated his body to science at Sydney University. So dad, enjoy Uni life for the first time in your life.”
