Biggest Morning Tea Success

- By Kerrie Mcgrath

Another successful Biggest Morning Tea held by the staff at the Galston Village Pharmacy on the 23rd May 2018.

We raised a total of $2221.00 .This was made possible with the amazing generosity of our local businesses. Without your support this amount could not be achieved . A big thank you to our major sponsors of this event The Bendigo Bank Galston, The Galston Club, Bunnings Dural & Hills District Farm Equipment. Also to Scissor & Comb who held a mini morning tea for their clients and contributed their fund raising effort with ours. A special thank you to everyone who baked and made a beautiful selection of cakes, slices and sandwiches , plus to all our volunteers that helped on the day to make coffee and tea and serve everyone ( you know who you are ). To many to thank separately, last but not least to our winners of the major raffles.

• 1st prize - Susan Healey ($1000 travel voucher)

• 2nd prize- Christine Macdonald ( Lenovo 10" tablet)

• 3rd prize - Julie Stephens ($200 Bunnings vouchers)

• 4th prize - Craig Bell (rover chainsaw)
