NATURAL PEST CONTROL

An all-round solution for the control of common pests such as whitefly, aphids and caterpillars

2L water 5ml dishwashing liquid 2 onions, chopped

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 hot chillies, chopped

Cover all ingredients with 1L of the (warm) water and let stand overnight. Pour into 5L Pure Sprayer, ensuring straining filter is in place. Discard solid ingredients and remove filter. Add remaining 1L of water to sprayer. Spray the plants’ stems, and the tops and undersides of leaves.

NATURAL FERTILISER

For use on herb and vegetable gardens

500ml water

75ml worm juice

(leachate from a worm farm)

Pour water into 2L Pure Sprayer. Wearing gloves and ensuring straining filter is fitted to sprayer, add worm juice. Remove filter, replace lid and shake. Spray around base of plants. Do not overspray on foliage, as it can cause leaf burn.

NATURAL CLEANING SOLUTION

For use on kitchen and bathroom surfaces

500ml water 500ml white vinegar grated rind of 1 lemon

2 sprigs of rosemary

Combine all ingredients in an airtight container and let stand overnight. Pour into 2L Pure Sprayer, ensuring straining filter is in place. Discard solid ingredients and remove filter.

NATURAL WEED CONTROL

For controlling common garden weeds on pathways

1 cup table salt 1L white vinegar 5ml dishwashing liquid

Put salt and white vinegar into 5L Pure Sprayer and shake until salt dissolves. Add dishwashing liquid and stir. Spray solution directly onto weeds in dry weather. Weeds will take about two to four days to die.
