SAVE FROST TENDER PLANTS
If you wake on a winter morning to find you’ve been caught out by a surprisingly harsh frost, there’s a way to save your frost-tender plants. After the sun rises, but before it hits the vulnerable plants, spray the foliage liberally with water. Spray the foliage again, if needed, to prevent the layer of water freezing. Later in the day, install some protection, such as a covering of frost cloth, in case the frost returns.
