PASSIONFRUIT

-

Purple passionfruit crops in summer, autumn and winter in most growing areas. The fruit take 2–3 months to ripen, so don’t be alarmed if it feels like they’ve been on the vine for ages. Ripe fruit are fully coloured and give slightly when pressed, but they are at their sweetest when the skin is a little wrinkled. They fall off the vine when they are ready, and continue ripening to wrinkle stage if left in a warm spot out of direct sunlight.
