Think about whether you’re likely to dine in this spot, have a drink in this spot, or just sit and gaze from this spot, then furnish accordingly.

Consider the role of this furniture as both a focal point and a destination. Is the seating more about being part of the view, or about providing a place from which to take in the view? Both are valid!
