Deen De Bortoli Vat Series

The De Bortoli family has made a name for itself churning out reliable, everyday drinking wines. This 2009 Petit Verdot was passable, if not memorable. Dark fruit flavours abound, but the Petit Verdot just failed to pack the punch I thought it may have delivered from the aforementioned fruits. Perhaps it would benefit from another 12 months of cellaring.
