A GROVEDALE woman charged with aggravated burglary, car theft and drug offences was also wanted for questioning over the alleged theft of her sex client’s credit cards, a court has heard.

Elise Saunders, 29, of Bieske Court, Grovedale, appeared unrepresented in Geelong Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Leading Senior Constable Daniel Drever told a bail hearing Ms Saunders and a coaccused entered an unlocked garage at Waurn Ponds and stole a $25,000 Toyota Kluger using the keys in the ignition overnight on Sunday.

Sen-Constable Drever said the pair also took possession of the owner’s wallet, which contained credit cards.

He said Ms Saunders and the male co-accused went to the IGA store at Grovedale, buying two paysafe vouchers for $87.27 and $86.85 using the stolen cards.

“They later returned where Saunders used one of the cards to purchase two bottles of Jack Daniels,” he said.

“At 7.10am today, police came across a suspicious vehicle parked at Grovedale with Saunders and the coaccused asleep inside.

“The car was fitted with stolen plates and inquiries confirmed the vehicle was the stolen Kluger.

“Saunders was in possession of two stolen credit cards, white crystal substance, believed to be methamphetamine, and 22 prescription tablets.”

Sen-Constable Drever said she was also wanted for questioning over an incident in which a male victim communicated with her after seeing her advertisement online.

“He and Saunders travelled to Winchelsea where the pair had sex,” he said.

“Next morning the victim found out Saunders had stolen his credit cards, including one belonging to his wife.”

Bail was refused and Ms Saunders was remanded until September 14.
