The Grinder ELEVEN, 8pm

The show’s latest high-profile guest star, Bridesmaids actor Maya Rudolph, begins her multi-episode appearance as Stewart’s (Fred Savage, left) therapist Jillian, who he convinces Dean (Rob Lowe, left) to see to help him distinguish between his real self and the overly dramatic character he played on TV for years. Like most of Stewart’s plans, this one backfires, with a transformed Dean starting to shrink everyone around him and convincing Debbie (Mary Elizabeth Ellis, left) to quit her job (in the process, finally fleshing our her character a bit more for the audience). There’s also time for a cliffhanger that will set the tone for the rest of the season.
