Geelong’s own Grange dinner
GEELONG wines lovers will be among the first in the world to try the new 2012 Penfolds Grange during a release dinner at Lord of the Isles.
Venue owner Peter Burnett recently returned from the global launch in Adelaide and said the wine was “spectacular”.
The six-course menu will feature locally sourced ingredients to match with wines from the new Penfolds Bin release, including the 2012 Penfolds Grange.
“The wine that’s going to be presented is absolutely stunning,” Mr Burnett said.
“It’s received 100 points and 98 points already from some of the wine reviewers.
