Glitch holds up bank transfers

SOME Commonweal­th Bank customers have been left waiting on payments after a systems glitch left the lender unable to process transfers.

The bank says it has remedied the issue and worked through a backlog of payments, which include wages, Centrelink payments and transfers between accounts.

“We can confirm that all outstandin­g payments and transfers have now been processed,” a CBA spokeswoma­n said.
