Fire engulfs train carriage
A V/LINE sprinter train has caught fire at Seymour railway station.
Four CFA units arrived at the station at 12.22pm to a “carriage full of black smoke”, authorities have confirmed.
The fire, which engulfed one of the train’s carriages, took fire crews wearing breathing apparatus more than an hour to control.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said no passengers were injured.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
