Tall Kangaroo in reckoning

NORTH Melbourne hopes to welcome back key forward Ben Brown for its final pre-season game next month.

The Kangaroos are also expected to welcome back onballer Scott Thompson (adductor) and defender Lachie Hansen (quad).

Brown booted 41 goals last season and looks set to assume the mantle as the leader of the forward line.

Assistant coach Josh Drummond is confident the Tasmanian is on track for Round 1. “He went for a clean-out and he’s tracking really well,” Drummond said.
