FLEDGLINGS GIVE IT A FLY

-

GEELONG Falcons and the Cats’ VFL side trained together in match simulation last night at Deakin University.

The two 15-minute periods gave the TAC Cup players a chance to test their wares against a senior outfit and make an impression on Geelong staff.

The Falcons boast a 69-man squad, but coach Daniel O’Keefe told the Addy the list would be chopped to about 50 following intraclub matches this Sunday and next.

The Falcons will also face the North Ballarat Rebels in a practise match before their TAC Cup Round 1 clash against Greater Western Victoria Rebels at Simonds Stadium on March 25.
