Sex pest stuns teenage girls

A FLASHER who exposed himself to teenage girls on a bus was yesterday sentenced to three months in jail.

Serial sex pest Luke Vandenbroucke, of Meadenhall Drive, St Albans Park, will spend 18 months on a community corrections order after he is released from custody in July.

Vandenbroucke, 24, a lifetime registered sex offender, committed his latest offence on a McHarry’s bus that left Moorabool St on March 23 when he exposed his erect penis to two 14-year-old girls.

The girls told the bus driver after Vandenbroucke disembarked near Townsend Rd, and Vandenbroucke was quickly identified by investigators from Geelong Police Sex Offenders Unit.

He pleaded guilty in Geelong Magistrates’ Court last month to counts of committing an indecent act in the presence of a child under 16, and was held in custody until being sentenced by magistrate Frank Jones yesterday.

Vandenbroucke has already served about half of his three-month jail term.
