Birthday horse play

-

HOMEGROWN actor Esther Anderson celebrated her 38th birthday in style this week.

The former Home and Away star, who portrayed Charlie Buckton of Summer Bay, was wined and dined by her husband Howard Moggs on Wednesday.

Her LA home was inundated with pink, white and yellow flowers to mark the special occasion, and Anderson said she was spoiled rotten by her English executive husband.

The pair enjoyed a birthday lunch by the water and then went horse riding in the mountains.

The actor and model shared a snap of herself atop Diego the horse at Topanga Canyon. She used the opportunity to thank her hubby for organising the activity and for sacrificing his own comfort to get on a horse for the first time.

“Horse riding for me is what I imagine surfing to be like for surfers!!” she wrote. “I LOVE them so much.” Her declaration comes one week after discussing the couple’s “love language” on the Morning Show, in which she said Moggs had her fill out a survey to determine what emotional love language out of five she identified as.

The couple’s February nuptials will feature in the 2017-18 issue of GT Bride, out next Saturday.

Anderson has been entertaining her social media followers of late, with short Instagram videos acting as her persona “Esther Moggs”.

“It’s my birthday today, yeah, I know, another year older. Oh gosh,” Anderson says in an Aussie accent reminiscent of Kath and Kim Day, and wearing big glasses.

“Happy birthday to all the Geminis out there, happy birthday month, and don’t let anyone ever tell you you’re crazy and have a split personality, you haven’t, you’re a chameleon . . . I love you guys”
