Powertools stolen at house, work site
BURGLARY RESIDENTIAL
CASH stolen from homes in Colac; power tools taken from a house and construction site in Lara and jewellery stolen from a Newcomb house.
Offenders continue to steal cash, computers, power tools, TVs, prescription drugs, house keys and vehicle keys.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
NUMBERPLATES stolen from vehicles parked on the street and in front yards.
Last week numberplates were stolen from Belmont, a car yard and railway station in North Geelong, driveways in Leopold, Thomson and Newtown and a home in Torquay, Drysdale and East Geelong.
Other thefts from vehicles were committed in Geelong with clothing and a laptop taken from a car park, and cash, clothing, a hand bag and purse stolen from another car.
Building tools were stolen from a front yard in Waurn Ponds.
Vehicles were also targeted in driveways in Grovedale, South Geelong, Belmont, Newtown and North Geelong.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
TWO vehicles stolen from Norlane were recovered nearby.
A car taken from East Geelong was found in Moolap. A vehicle stolen from Herne Hill was found in Bell Post Hill, one taken from Manifold Heights was located in North Geelong and another stolen from Lara was recovered in Mount Cottrell.
BURGLARY
A COLAC gaming venue, administration office and two sports facilities were targeted.
An education department building was hit in Lara.
Power tools were stolen from a Newtown construction site.
Cosmetics were stolen from a Drumcondra retailer and an agricultural building in Geelong West was broken into.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
WINDOWS and some doors of Corio homes have been damaged. In Geelong windows and vehicles damaged. Graffiti was also sprayed at the Geelong train station. A flat, fence and vehicle in Grovedale were also damaged.
