Ceremonies stay put
GEELONG Australia Day citizenship ceremonies will not be shifted to a different date, with administrators keeping the celebrations on January 26.

No one is forced to celebrate on Australia Day. Everyone has the right to spend Australia Day how they choose and I respect those Australians that choose to spend the day in mourning. That’s their right as it’s my right to spend the day how I choose to. Anna Jessie
