ARGUMENT RUNS COUNTER TO GOD’S DECREE

THANK you for letting me add my voice to the “same sex” debate.

The all-important truth the majority of correspondents seem to overlook, is that the whole “same sex” debate is seen as a struggle for the supremacy between those who represent the yes and no voters and their sympathisers.

It’s not that at all. The demarcation lines have been clearly, definitively and authoritatively drawn thousands of years ago by God and re-enforced later by Jesus.

“Same sex activities” of any kind — let alone “marriage” between same sex enthusiasts, is tantamount to rebellion against what God has instituted as a union exclusively between a man and a woman.

In our society we see rebellion against the laws of the land as a no-no and penalties are in place for those who decide to ignore or go against them. Why is there such an outcry when someone raises issues which are based on God’s decrees and His laws? Henk, Corio
