Picking up a year after the closing events in The Good Wife, an enormous family financial scam and destroyed reputations see Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) forced out of Lockhart & Lee for a new legal firm. Not afraid of a fight, Diane begins to pick up the pieces and start afresh alongside her goddaughter Maia (Rose Leslie). Tonight, Diane finds herself involved in a police brutality case while Maia faces a tough interview on the backlash of the family scandal.
