GOVERNMENT INACTION WORSENS RABBIT PROBLEM

IN December 1950 a farmer wrote, rabbits are Australia’s greatest curse that will not be cured by prosecutin­g the individual.

Our railways and Crown land, are breeding grounds that are above the law, and there is unwarrante­d threatenin­g of landholder­s when government makes little or no attempt to set its own house in order. Government­s need to recognise their duty.

Now, 2017 on the Bellarine, rabbits are worse than you think.
