Another division 1? It doesn’t get much luckier than this

-

THE numbers keep coming up at a Newcomb lottery store that is on a remarkable streak of selling winning tickets.

Bellarine Village Lotto has sold its fourth division 1-winning entry in 10 months with the lucky winner of Saturday night’s Tattslotto draw pocketing more than $1 million.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was one of four around the country in Tattslotto draw 3775, with each winner taking home a division 1 prize of $1,009,035.64.

The winning ticket was an 18-game QuickPick entry.

Bellarine Village Lotto owner Ben Kelberg said he was thrilled to have sold another big winner.

“We are a bit blown away here. Fourth division 1-win- ning entry we’ve sold this year,” Mr Kelberg said.

“The last one was only two months ago and now another one.

“We’ve been telling everyone that we’ve sold another one at the outlet.

“We’ve been so happy to have sold the other entries too, but this one is pretty special for us as it is our first winning entry that has made one of our customers a millionaire.”

In January this year a retiree from St Albans Park said she would treat herself to a holiday after discovering she had won more than $62,000 in a Super 66 draw after purchasing her entry at Bellarine Village Lotto.

That win was followed by a Tattslotto division 1-winning entry worth $463,590.27 in April, won by a Geelong woman who marked her winning numbers using birth dates and lucky numbers.

The third division 1-winning entry sold there was in July when a Geelong woman refused to believe she had won a division 1 prize of $496,656 and hung up on a Tattslotto official.
