Many pubs and venues in Geelong are putting on Grand Final shows, here’s a few you should consider.

The Lord Nelson, Malop St:

Having recently renovated its much-loved beer garden, The Lord Nelson will be showing off its upgrades when it displays the Grand Final across three beer-garden screens. Food and drink specials will be available from noon and the game can also be viewed inside.

Edge, waterfront:

Part of a long weekend of special celebratio­ns hosted by Edge, this waterfront venue is going the extra mile by providing extra screens to view the game, dining all day and live music from 5.30pm.

The Sporting Globe, Ryrie St:

A hugely popular destinatio­n to watch the Grand Final, punters are encouraged to book to avoid missing out. As well as live entertainm­ent provided after the game and food and drink specials throughout, viewers can choose to upgrade to a VIP booth.

The Sphinx Hotel, North Geelong:

This local institutio­n will be showing the game in its bistro and its dedicated sports bar. A one-stop entertainm­ent venue, celebratio­ns will continue after the game when local group The Hollow Majors take to the stage at 11pm in The Sphinx’s dance club.

The Inn Hotel, Corio St:

The refurbishe­d former Bush Inn Hotel has quickly become a popular hotspot and will host its first Grand Final day viewing today. The game will be screened on multiple TVs and will be followed by both acoustic entertainm­ent and a number of DJs throughout the night.
