THE Cowrie Market is back on tomorrow, 10am-3pm, with a colourful array of offerings set to line Torquay’s Esplanade. Stalls offer fresh produce, clothing, homemade items and art, while musicians performing on two stages will provide family-friendly entertainm­ent. THIS artisan market will be held today, from 10am-4pm. A variety of items will be up for grabs, including handcrafte­d clothing, baby wear, jewellery, ceramics, candles, photograph­y and retro vinyl records. The market is at 52 Hithcock Ave, Barwon Heads. THE Bellarine Community Farmers Market is having a one-off combined food and craft event for the first time. Feast all the senses with more than 40 stalls of fresh produce, food and coffee vans, unique handcrafte­d gifts, kids’ entertainm­ent, the Ocean Grove Primary school choir, open-mic busker tent and your chance to win a Christmas charity hamper. Head along between 9am-1pm at Ocean Grove Park. A GREAT opportunit­y to buy arty last minute Christmas gifts and meet the artists at this evening market. Discover the possibilit­ies of getting into art yourself by talking to the stall holders. The event is at 17-21 High St, Drysdale, on Wednesday, December 20, from 5-8pm. TODAY’S market features Maria’s handmade Christmas food delights, cane baskets hand woven by Murray the blind basket maker, Sharon’s glass terrarium style hanging Christmas balls, and more. Enjoy a free cup of tea when you buy a homemade scone. There will be free entry and parking. The market is from 10am-2pm today.
