THIS market runs every Saturday, 8.30am-1pm, at 1 Merrijig Drive, Torquay, in the Surf Coast Shire offices carpark, and offers a taste of the region’s produce, including fruit and vegetables, meat, eggs, artisan cheeses and breads, fish, salami and olive oil. GEELONG and the Surf Coast’s best fresh and local seafood will be available for purchase at this local market. This month, learn all about composting with Andrew from Geelong Compost. Andrew will run two sessions (9.30am and 11am) to help you make plant food for extra happy gardens. On tomorrow from 9am at The Farmer’s Place, 675 Anglesea Rd, Freshwater Creek. THIS boutique market down the coast showcases the best of the region’s arts, crafts and produce. All stalls offer homegrown, handmade, recycled, vintage and local items. The market will be held at Aireys Inlet Community Hall, tomorrow 9am-1pm. A FANTASTIC community market that includes colourful displays of homemade crafts and food out in the open air. It will be held tomorrow from 9am-2pm, just off the Portarling­ton Esplanade at WG Little Reserve.
