THE Nightjar Festival kicks off in Geelong on Friday, and will be at Johnstone Park every Friday in February from 4-10pm. The festival features live music, food and market stalls. Entry is $5 for 12 years and over, free for those 11 and under. A GREAT summer market is set for today, along the foreshore at St Leonards, offering a wide variety of art and craft, produce, new and preloved goods. There will be a jumping castle, along with hot food and refreshmen­ts to keep the whole family entertaine­d. From 9am-1pm. An artisan and makers’ market is on today from 10am-4pm with jewellery, children’s clothing, handmade ceramics, photograph­y, beautiful weaving and art works complement­ed by food trucks for lunch and dinner and live acoustic music. At 52 Hitchcock Ave, Barwon Heads. THIS boutique market showcases the best of the region’s arts, crafts and produce. All stalls offer homegrown, handmade, recycled, vintage and local items. At Aireys Inlet Community Hall, tomorrow, 9am-1pm. THIS scenic Lorne market is on today at the foreshore overlookin­g Loutit Bay. Offerings include delicious treats, local produce, second-hand goods and art and craft. From 10am-4pm. This popular weekly market at the Surf Coast Shire offices, 1 Merrijig Dve, celebrates fresh local foods and artisan produce including fish, salami, olive oil, jams, honey, preserves and nuts, locally roasted coffee and more. It’s on today, 8.30am-1pm.
