Thieves make off with Harley bike

NEWCOMB had cash, jewellery and computers stolen from homes.

In Whittingto­n, building materials, tools and household electrical were taken.

Norlane had power tools taken from a house and a shed and, in Belmont, a television and computers were stolen from a flat and garage.

In Lara, cash, jewellery, computers and a mobile phone were taken while in Corio jewellery, computers and vehicle keys were stolen from a house. FACTORIES were targeted in North Geelong, Norlane and South Geelong, and schools in Corio and South Geelong. Offenders targeted sports and recreation grounds in Corio. FOUR vehicles were stolen from Corio and found in Curlewis, Lovely Banks and Norlane while a car stolen from Hamlyn Heights was recovered in Hawthorn.

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen from Leopold.

Ford, Holden, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota vehicles were also stolen. NUMBER plates were stolen from residentia­l locations in Norlane, carparks and the railway station in Geelong, in Newcomb from residences and driveways and in Drysdale from a warehouse and factory and in the street elsewhere.

Other reports show that in Corio incidents included home audio stolen from a carpark and computers plus mobile phones from driveways, while in Norlane, Hamlyn Heights, Newcomb and Geelong random thefts from vehicles occurred. WINDOWS were damaged at homes in North Geelong, Geelong and Norlane, also a licensed venue in Geelong. Graffiti was reported at a car yard and the train station in Geelong, businesses in Leopold and train stations in Corio, Waurn Ponds and Marshall. Vehicles were damaged in Ocean Grove, Geelong, Colac and Clifton Springs.
