all have a disability and varying pho photography experience — has been printed and stuck along a wall in Carr St, just across the road from South Geelong train station.
One of the photographers, Matt Turner, said he was pleased to see his work displayed in such a prominent public area.
He has been a photographer for about three years and this is the first time he has participated in a street art exhibition.
“This program has allowed me to get to a lot of places that I wouldn’t think of going, or wouldn’t have been able to go due to physical limitations,” he said.
“Getting to work with other people in the group has been good as well well, you get to see so many differ different points of view with each shot.”
The two photography groups have been guided by Leisure Networks’ Jono Dredge and Lucy Jones.
“It continues to be a fantastic experience to work alongside the photography group, watching them develop new friendships, building their capacity within the local com- munity munity, creating opportunities and bringing their ideas to the group,” Mr Dredge said.
The Paste Up Street Art will displayed indefinitely.
Leisure Networks is encouraging anyone visiting the exhibit to take a picture and upload it to social media tagging it @lnetworks and #streetartofgeelong.
