KEEP GUY’S ACTIONS IN PERSPECTIVE
SO Matthew Guy should resign as he has fought to protect the communities in the debacle, with massive cost increases and threat to our safety in the attempts to alter our firefighting abilities.
Graham Rutherford’s letter (GA 7/4) calls for Guy’s resignation, but he needs to be balanced and have an understanding of our political landscape.
Integrity, honesty, morals and ethics are often a forgotten commodity when it comes to politics.
We can find a case to sack a massive number in the ranks of both federal and state representatives.
I’m unsure how much Guy’s actions have cost us. But Daniel Andrews and his band of merry men have cheated, lied and spent over a million dollars on lawyers to defend their illegal employment of staff at the election.
Daniel Andrews lied in order to get elected about the cost of the cancellation of a road project and he was elected on that basis. This lie cost us more than $1 billion. I can only im- agine those funds being used for the disadvantaged in our community.
How are our electricity bills affecting the elderly and struggling families?
Our society has lost its moral and ethical compass when the elderly cannot afford to keep warm.
The result will be people dying. Think about the government-sanctioned actions that will cause these tragic outcomes.
