Ms Ferris, who continues to take classes, has recruited a number of yoga teachers who offer a well-rounded yoga sessions, from the introducto­ry Wonder 101 classes to the popular Yin yoga and Barre classes.

“At the end of the day, it's about how good our teachers are,” she said. “We have spent a lot of time finding the right mix and blend, and the space mirrors the energy of the teachers.” THE name Wonder for the studios has emerged from Ms Ferris’s explanatio­n for why she practised yoga: “It always left me with a sense of wonder; a sense of wonder in my own ability; a sense of wonder in the greater world; a sense of wonder in that you can find stillness; and a sense of wonder in that we are all connected. Wonder is a gateway . . . from where you are to where you want to be.”
