Airport takes off with AirAsia
MORE than 100 people attended a Geelong Business Network breakfast to hear Avalon Airport chief executive Justin Giddings outline some of the exciting opportunities for the airport and the region on the back of securing international flights.
Mr Giddings said securing the AirAsia X service to Malaysia was an exciting development for the Geelong region.

Also up for acknowledgment are some long-time chamber members.
Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Services and Maxwell Collins will notch a remarkable 70 years as members of the chamber.
Davidsons and GMHBA will be marking 40 years of membership while Rendine Constructions are mere chamber kittens by comparison with 30 years’ membership.
The AGM is on Thursday at the Charles Brownlow Stand during the chamber’s next After 5 function.
